BELITUNG as a new tourist destination in Indonesia further strengthens its infrastructure. This time the local government is aiming for transportation for the services of tourists visiting Belitung. At least two government-owned buses have arrived in Belitung.

These two buses with 22 seats each are grants from the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation to the local government. This bus is managed by Perum Damri to serve tourists visiting Belitung.

The bus is to support the modal transport fleet in Belitung Regency. It is planned that this bus will be used as a mode guide. The bus will be used for guides from the passenger arrival point to the passenger destination point.

This means that this bus will serve passengers from the US H Airport Hanandjoeddin Tanjungpandan to the city center and tourist points in the Sijuk area. The consideration is that tourist visits to Belitung are increasing every year.

The development of tourism is characterized by increasing tourist visits as a reason for the local government to pursue the grant. This is to improve services for visitors who want to enjoy the panorama of Belitung.

The fare for getting a bus service that is equipped with air conditioner (AC), video, luggage inside and the hydrolic door will refer to the Governor of Babel Islands Decree. These two bus units are in operation and are daily posting in the Tanjungpandan Passenger Terminal.

For tourists who are confused about transportation in Belitung, they can rely on this bus. Upon arrival at the airport, this bus will welcome passengers and deliver to the hotels or lodgings targeted at tourists.
