The culinary name Lakse may sound foreign to our ears. But when we hear the name spaghetti, many of us no longer feel strange. If indeed you often enjoy spaghetti, then in Belitung we can find culinary similar to that typical Italian food. Now culinary is similar to spaghetti that we can taste in our own country named Lakse.

Lakse is indeed similar to spaghetti which uses noodles as its main ingredient. Although at a glance similar, Lakse which is a typical culinary of Belitung certainly has some differences. The difference is that Lakse's noodles are smaller than spaghetti. Another difference is the color of the noodles where the spaghetti color is yellow, while in Lakse the color of the noodles is white. LAKSE FIRST WAS USING A KANTAH KANTAH

Looking at Lakse's history, we will actually see this snack that is similar to Putu Mayang. This is because ancient Lakse was given coconut milk soup. Coconut milk itself is indeed one of the favorite ingredients for making food for the Belitung people. But after the arrival of the Belitung Chinese people, Lakse has turned into a menu like we see now where the coconut milk soup is replaced with a sauce of mackerel fish. MAKE LAKSE

To make this Lakse you have to prepare the ingredients first. The ingredients for making Lakse itself consist of:

 500 grams of good quality rice flour.

700 ml of water.

 1/2 teaspoon salt.

 400 grams of good quality sago flour.

After the ingredients are ready, proceed to the cooking stage or process in the following order:

1. The first step, mix 1/3 part of rice flour with 350 ml of water and salt into one then stir well. Cook the ingredients while continuing to stir until thickened and cooked. Once cooked lift and allow to cool.

2. Next, mix the remaining flour with the remaining water together and stir well. Then pour into the batter that has been cooked while continuing to stir until mixed.

3. Next, add the sago flour little by little while stirring until it becomes a smooth and smooth dough.

4. After getting the desired dough, print the dough into my stool or putu mayang mold by spraying directly on boiling water until it floats cooked. If it is done lift and drain it.

5. Step five, dip it briefly in cold water and drain again to then put on a banana leaf.

6. Finally, Lakse is ready to be served and enjoyed with its delicious mackerel fish sauce. Don't forget to enjoy it while it's warm so you can enjoy it more satisfied.
