Satya's opinion about BelitungIsland.COM, "This website is very informative, can describe tourist destination locations on the island of Belitung. Tour packages are also quite interesting, even provided special packages for photographers, this I have never found in other areas. maybe in the future other packages need to be added, for example specifically for snorkeling or diving. Hopefully BelitungIsland.com will continue to progress and develop, as well as Belitung Island tourism itself. "

The following is the narration of Satya's photography hunting trip in Belitung:

"On this occasion I was on vacation with a number of colleagues who were interested in snorkeling. When visiting the Lengkuas island, with a guide and boat owner, we also did snorkeling at 3 spots, namely spot 1 near the island of birds about 50 meters from the beach. around 10 am, at this location we were out of luck because we didn't get good visuals because the weather was still not good, after it rained in the morning so the water conditions were not clear. After being satisfied enough to take photos together, we continued on our way to Lengkuas island.

After the wife, lunch and photos on the island of Lengkuas, we were getting ready to snorkel again. Spot 2, which is about 100 meters from the island of Lengkuas, around 13:00 we began to explore again around this area. At this location we get a good enough visual to take photos in the water both coral objects and fellow colleagues. About one hour we also move to the next spot. Spot 3 which is approximately 200 meters from the pig island. Here we find more interesting forms of coral and we find a lot of sea urchins in this location. This spot is the best location among other spots.

Because this is my first experience to snorkel and take photos in the water, I only use Canon IXUS 850IS digital camera equipped with a waterproof device that is safe for taking pictures in the water. And I was quite happy because the underwater visuals around Belitung turned out to be quite good and not inferior to other locations. There is even a colleague of mine who intends to learn to dive and plan to set up a dive center there, because I am still curious about other locations.

After about an hour, we moved towards the sand islands to just rest and just take photographs. And continue the journey back to Tanjung Kelayang with a feeling of dissatisfaction, not satisfied because they still want to explore more potential other underwater views in Belitung. "

Ms. Ana, the best time to go to Belitung is April to May where the waves are calm so that the seabed is easier to see. The best locations for snorkeling are around Lengkuas Island, Babi Island and in Tanjung Tinggi. The rental price for snorkeling equipment is around IDR 50,000 / set / day. Please see our tour package info for the snorkeling program.
